Who We Are

Dear Colleagues,

We feel pleased to introduce you our project based on the development of a huge 3DNeuroanatomy community. Our aim is to encourage every single neurosurgeon or neurosurgical resident to join us in order to create a group of people interested on the study and discussion of different neurosurgical cases, always assisted by the most important weapon we have, the NEUROANATOMY.

Our Neurosurgical Department in the ‘Hospital General Universitario de Alicante’ has a wide tradition in education and training in the field of Neuroanatomy, collaborating every year with the Spanish and other Neurosurgery Societies in the education of residents and neurosurgeons from all over the world.

An interactive platform has been created in our website so as to let everyone discussing on real time the best therapeutic approach for any given case, as well as to review and share pictures, videos and neuroimage pics to clarify the discussions. All the material uploaded in our website has been acquired in our facilities in the Neuroanatomy lab of the Department of Anatomy in the Miguel Hernández University.

Moreover, we will feel proud to invite everyone interested in the 3DN community to join us every year in Alicante to share different points of view, as well as to attend interesting 3D lectures and discuss the most appropriate surgical approach for neurosurgical cases. This goal would be achieved once a year during our 3DN Courses, however, our Department and Laboratory are opened for any of you who desires to improve its knowledge and skills.

We want to take this chance to welcome you to the 3D Neuroanatomicalcommunity and to invite you to participate in this interesting topic focused on the study of Neuroanatomy and Neurosurgical Approaches.
