9.00-9.30am. Anterior fossa transcranial routes

9.30-10.00am. A step-by-step guide for a successful Pterional approach

10.00-10.30am: Coffee break

10.30-11.00am. Vascular lesions of the anterior circulation

11.00-11.30pm. Orbit anatomy and surgical approaches

11.30-12.00pm. The nasal cavity as a corridor to the anterior fossa and orbit. Anatomic landmarks

12.00-12.30pm. Expanded endonasal endoscopic anatomy of the anterior cranial fossa

12.30-1.00pm. Expanded endonasal endoscopic anatomy of the orbit

 

AFTERNOON. Laboratory

STATION 1: Hands-on session: endoscopic endonasal anatomy to the anterior and lateral skull base. 90 min.

STATION 2: Breakout session. The case for discussion. 90min.

8.30-9.00am. The transcranial microscopic corridors to the sellar and parasellar regions

9.00-9.30am. Basic concepts in endonasal endoscopic transsphenoidal surgery to the sellar and parasellar region

9.30-10.00am. Anatomical variations in sellar & parasellar regions. How does it affect to our planning?

10.00-10.30am: Coffee break

10.30-11.00am. Surgical treatment of pituitary adenomas. Where to approach through?

11.00-11.30pm.  Endoscopic giant pituitary adenomas: how to stay out of troubles

11.30-12.00pm. Surgical treatment of sellar / parasellar meningiomas

12.00-12.30pm. Endoscopic management of craniopharyngiomas

12.30-1.00pm. Microsurgical management of craniopharyngiomas

AFTERNOON. Laboratory

STATION 1: Live endoscopic dissection: endoscopic endonasal approach to the sellar and parasellar regions. 90 min

STATION 2: Hands-on session: microscopic anatomy of the orbit and surgical routes. 90 min.

8.30-9.00am. Cavernous sinus anatomy: endonasal-endoscopic and transcranial-microscopic correlation

9.00-9.30am. Cavernous sinus from a surgical perspective

9.30-10.00am. Expanded endonasal approaches to the cavernous sinus. Classification of tumor invasion

10.00-10.30am: Coffee break

10.30-11.00am. Intracranial carotid artery and the relationship with the pterygopalatine, infratemporal and middle fossa. Kassam’s areas

11.00-11.30pm. Pre-, Subtemporal, and Transpetrous bone routes to the middle and infratemporal fossae

11.30-12.00pm. The anterior transpetrosal approach. Anatomy and surgery

12.00-1.00pm. Optimally invasive skull base surgery: lowering concepts to the earth

1.00-1.30pm. Closure
